Mission Statement + Past Events

Buddy Baskets serves to support the local Charlotte community through a variety of means. This organization encompasses a couple of main values: mentorship, creativity, providing to hospitals and helping other students. We’ve done so through several of our past initiatives. This organization was founded in December of 2024 and it’s been evolving and money amazing ways ever since. Here’s some stats about our past events:

• Started Project Learning Loop which promotes “sustainable” education. We tutor kids through our tutoring program then give back to the community through donating books with a local book bank.

• Hosted a summer tutoring program; Tutored for 20+ hours at the affordable price of $8, raised over $120 (Summer 2025)

• Hosted an annual gift-basket donation, donated 21 baskets to Levine Children’s Hospital. Gifts contained fuzzy socks, puzzles and educational games, crayons and handmade bracelets. (December 2024)

• Conducted a Bake Sale with money raised just shy of $170, donated money goes towards sponsoring future donations (i.e. future book donation, annual gift baskets) – (February 2025)

• Promoting information about Mental Health diseases through our weekly medical mysteries on our Instagram (@buddybasketsclt) – fun and engaging way to spread knowledge to our forum
